The 21-month outcome evaluation report of Home Again by a team from the Boston University School of Public Health
After a 12-month planning period and a 21-month testing of the “Housing First” approach in Worcester with funding from The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts, a collaborative of homeless service providers has evidence that the approach is effective in creating solutions to adult chronic homelessness. A 21-month independent outcome evaluation, conducted by a team from the Boston University School of Public Health, shows that providing housing, coupled with case management and services, to individuals who have been chronically homeless is effective in ending their homelessness and improving their health status.
